EDSA Harmonics Analysis Program with filter design solution is a powerful tool for power quality engineers.
Proven solution and in deep software testing based on long hand calculation and harmonic measurements in the field, made the EDSA Harmonics Program a very powerful tool for electrical engineers involved in power quality business.
EDSA can calculate bus voltage THD for all buses, and branch current THD for all branches of a power system when a harmonic source or several harmonic sources are present in the network. Also, bus and branch RMS values and transformer K-factor can be obtained. Results are presented in time-domain waveform and in frequency domain spectrum. Results as per user selection can be displayed in text or graphic formats.
Harmonic source: waveform and FFT
Both 3-phase and single-phase networks can be modeled, and any type of fault can be simulated: 3P, L-L, L-L-G, L-G. Only EDSA Short Circuit Analysis program calculates sliding faults, an important feature for impedance protection operation or for calculating the L-G faults needed for towers grounding.
